About Greenwood Reads

Reading can be challenging, and some children need specialized attention to master this skill. I can provide your child with literacy support in a creative and engaging manner. My name is Ginger and I am Greenwood Reads, an affordable reading and dyslexia tutoring service in Greenwood, IN. I am a certified teacher in the State of Indiana with a Master’s Degree and over two decades of elementary teaching experience. I provide individualized tutoring services for children with reading, spelling, and writing challenges.

My tutoring services include an individualized lesson plan specific to your child’s strengths and needs. I have an understanding of special learning differences such as dyslexia and ADHD/ADD. I use an Orton-Gillingham approach with some structured linguistics. These approaches offer systematic and explicit lessons using a multisensory technique. Success requires close contact with parents/guardians, and parent/tutor conferences are available. References, testimonials, and background checks are also available upon request.

I am able to work around your schedule. I typically meet students at my office located at 500 Polk St, Greenwood, IN 46143. Alternative meeting arrangements can be made as needed.

Rates

$50 a session (about an hour)

Tutoring is typically recommended twice per week.
